Re: [GSAS-board] Speaker Membership & Aquarium Donations

Okay, well maybe we should extend it into the auction as well since we made good money on his stuff.

Heidi and family came and got the 110 out of my garage. Hooray! Now I can drag MY 180-gallon fish tank from my dad’s and start working on it. I have the other donated aquarium from 2 years ago up for sale. I’ve decided that it would not work in the daycare here and I might be moving in June. It’s on Craig’s List now for $200.

This is a “done-deal.”  We already have a membership type called “Speaker.”  I believe we typically give them a year from the date that they spoke at GSAS.

I think the least we can do for a speaker willing to take time to present to the club is offering them a one-year free membership. That way they feel welcoming coming back and answering any future questions we might have.
