Plant Auction perked up the money situation
Newsletter update: add membership/renewal form, Steve had sample form
also anouncement of Children's Coloring/art Contest
March meeting :
Justin of the Triple Door will speak, Paul will be the contact
HAP/BAP auction,
Fish of the month: Susan will ask Monica to get 3 prizes of cool plants up to $30 total
( May meeting FOM will be actual fish, MJC proposes mini cories)
Also children's fish art competition, draw a fish or a plant singular on an 8 1/2X11 paper.freeform. Prizes will be F-O-M coupons for the younger people, some alternative for the older kids.
April Auction: Rick will send out the Auction checklist via email and the board will divvy up the different doners and other tasks. MJC and Susan will advertise on Craigslist, Paul is listing on "the Planted tank" Erik will make a big notice on the web page.
May Meeting possibly Killies or diseases, ask Matt kaufman or Dave sanford, Steve volunteered to be a possible speaker: new disease talk. or possible movies
June Meeting Ice Cream Social, Art Project ( ask Betty G if she is still a possible project leader, MJC can do supplies or be a back-up art gal), still a possibility of a speaker.
PayPal : Eric will create a GSASfunds @GSAS.ORG pseudo-email address that forwards to : newsletter: Steve and Susan: Treasurer and membership, and Eric as DVD geek
Susan will set up Paypal business acct. for membership payments
also send a "Survey Page" to members that renew on line so we can get real email and snail mail addresses ect
Steve has the extra set of membership cards
He will send out as he can, watching the expiration dates
Next Board Meeting @ Meredith's March 22nd, Potluck, Susan has signed up for salad, can somebody bring beverages? or Pizza? maybe Steve could bring more chocolate?
