I think it would be a good idea to poll the general GSAS members through the
email list. Perhaps we could find some more volunteers to help out too.

I know that the people who *came* to the Saturday auction liked it, but 
that is a skewed response, of course.  You need to find out if people 
DIDN'T come because it was a Saturday as well.  I would ask the mailing 
list.

Personally, I prefer the evening one because it doesn't wipe out an entire 
weekend day, and I don't rely on my spouse to watch the kids the entire 
afternoon.  In a couple years this won't matter, as they'll not only be at 
the auction, but they'll be drafted to help out :). But this year it's 
still an issue.

If both auctions are on a Saturday, I will probably opt out of one of 
them.
