Hi Paul,
When I was promoting the speaker-meals, we always put the word out for all
members to attend (hoping for as large a crowd as possible) and doing good
to get 8 or so to actually show up. It's dutch-treat except for the speaker
(and, in this case, his wife) whose meal the club provides.
I'll find one of my old emails about a pre-meeting meal and forward it to
you separately.
Rick

Steev, I would like to invite you to dinner as a speaker (ok, last months
speaker) at Chillie's Paste Thai Cuisine in Fremont. We could also go to
the orange one across the street that I no longer remember the name to...).
Doran will be able to attend with his wife.
Does the board have a recommendation on the number of people I should invite
or expected cash outlay? Do I pay for everyone? I can think of lots of
ways to create and embarrassing evening that could be avoided with the
collective memory of the board.
Thanks!
-Paul
