Kim and Wanda: Anyone with a strong interest in plants and fish is welcome to attend our meetings. On a given meeting night we have ~40-50 members with ~7 under 18 running around. While our normal meeting follow the social/speaker/auction format December will be an exception as we are hosting a Christmas party. There will be food, games, and prizes. January features a local hobbyist that will speak on his work on raising salmon as an educational tool. February will be our annual plant auction (with fish) if you are looking for really good local items at a fair price. If you would like to interact before the next meeting I recommend joining our mailing lists and reading the archives or asking questions. http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member We also publish a monthly newsletter for members. One of the programs that has really lagged this year is the Horticulture/Breeder Award Program (HAP/BAP). If your teens are interested in learning more this is a great place to start. If you would like to discuss further please call my cell at 206 297-8062. Evenings preferred. -Paul On Thu, 29 Nov 2007, Kim Wise wrote: > Hello Paul..hope you can be of help to our family. > > We have a couple of teen boys who have exhibited a strong interest in > aquaria/tropical fish.
