12/15/07 Attendence: Board:Paul Wallace, Christine Renneger, Meredith Crichton Absent Susan and Matt other members present: Jennifer, Megan, Katarina and of course Steve Ward 1) Home Show, Matt has asked for input on rules. We suggest prizes for each participant ( some from auction donations, one suggestion was holiday fish ornaments that could be purchased after xmas, other prizes could be purchased) Have alot of catagories. In the memorable past we have not been too competative. Go for it. 2) Matt will put our club listing in the AQ mag soon and will bring the backup CD for the membership cards to the next meeting. 3) Bank, last months minutes over estimated the account balace by $1000, I'm claiming a typo on that one. Paul and Meredith were added to the clubs account as signers in an amazingly painless process (Crown Hill WAMU). The account number is the same and the Paypal is already set up. Susan will be attempting to teach Meredith and Paul about the treasurer job so we can be back-ups. 4)Paul's questions Conway as sponsor? fine he does offer discount. too bad his store is so far away Doran Store/website sponsor? review when reality Later w/Erik and Paul Website update (schedule ?) Membership (purge, warning?) 5) February plant auction spend about $250, ask for alternative mosses (singapore, taiwan) unusual ferns crypts, apongegetums, foregrond plants, submersed plants (if any of these are posibilities) We barely broke even on the "anubias on wood" last year we hope the annual miracle happens and mysterious Sam will find out about this Meredith and Susan picked up the plants last year (hey S, roadtrip?, M) Erik is the con on this project. Tell us if you need anything specific. 6) Jack is ready to go for the Jan meeting, Feb is plant Auction, Paul is working on March. Guppy Bob was suggested. 7) Holiday party reviewed: Ham was fantastic. Christine will be allowed to host as many parties as she wishes (and probably more) Thank you to Erik for FISHO, and Florian for major food hauling. Thank you to the people who helped clean up. I had a great time with the crafts. Small attendence but good food and fun. respectfully submitted, Meredith Crichton, Secretary The best games are on Xbox 360.
