Re: [GSAS-board] Date for Picnic - 8/30

Can Shango get an earlier date? Could we do it at someone's house or cabin
by a river or lake?

Thank you very much for the perspective Eric, last year was "6" so this year
should be huge.  I cannot agree with Susan more in that we need to come
together as a board to pick a location that is fun and central.  On a side
note, the work for getting a reservation has fallen solely on Shango (who is
not cc'ed on board emails) who has done a great job getting the best
available site at the indicated park.   I will look at the proposed parks
and come prepared to discuss at the auction to narrow choices so that a
final informed decision can be made at the next board meeting.
