Note that my comment about the alcohol thing was definitely not 'we need to find a place that allows alcohol'... as far as I know, alcohol has never been a featured aspect of the GSAS picnics. :) I was more annoyed that the phrase 'no alcohol, this is a family event' has become a featured aspect of the GSAS picnics. I am perfectly OK with 'no alcohol as per city park ordinances' if we're at a city park.
