GSAS Home Show 2008
If you signed up for the Home Show, we'll be contacting you in a week or so to schedule a time to come photograph your tanks. Photography will throughout the last half of May.
Participating
If you didn't sign up yet but still want to compete, just email matt@wrongcrowd.com. If you are interested in being a judge or a photographer, let me know too. Judging can be done over email, and if you can even go shoot one or two tanks, it will help. If you would like to shoot your own tanks, that is fine too!
Preparing for Photography
Here are a few tips that will help your tank look its best.
1. Keep your hands out of the tank for at least one full day, and perhaps several days if your substrate is very fine. You don't want any crud in the water.
2. Make sure the glass is clean inside and out.
3. If you have a lot of floating plants, consider removing them unless they are part of the theme. More light in the tank makes it easier to shoot.
