Re: [GSAS-board] GSAS.org Web Site
Hi Roy, to answer your questions...
It was good seeing you on Tuesday night. I was talking to one of our newer
members, Kypros,
who could not make the meeting and he is looking forward to seeing the tape
that you made.
It may take a bit, as I'm learning some new software for the high-def
camera (and unfortunately also left the audio and graphics at work while
the camcorder tapes are here at home -- d'oh!). But I will be cutting my
teeth on it as time allows.
I was e-mailing you to see if there is a way to post a .DOC or .TXT file (the
GSAS
Horticulture Submission Form) on our web site, possibly on the HAP page?
http://www.gsas.org/Articles/hap.html
The *best* way would be to save the file as HTML from Word, e-mail it to
me, and I'll put it up. plaintext is also fine -- I might be able to
convert it to html if it's meant to stick around.
Also, I havenʼt tried, but can a .DOC or .TXT file be attached to a message in
our GSAS
Member Chat forum?
Hmm, plaintext attachments might work -- my guess is they would show up as
part of the message. You can, of course, easily insert them LITERALLY
into the e-mail (paste it in). .DOC is right out. There have been too
many word viruses over the years.
Lastly, I do not believe that the Officers/Committee Chair information has been
update on our
website, would you please check on it for me?
Here I just do what Paul or the board asks me to do. So they periodically
send me a list. I don't keep up on this on my own. [Hint hint, guys!]
