I feel for Susan and I was one of those people who made things more difficult for her by leaving before the end of the meeting.  

One thing I suggest is that there is more control over meeting length.  I truly enjoyed Steev’s presentation and it also ran far longer than a regular monthly meeting.  There were others like I who planned on the meeting ending at the usual time and had plans, babysitters or simply were exhausted.

I am thinking about the auction flow to see if I have suggestions.  For now, I think it would help to standardize the meeting time constraints.  I don’t usually see people leaving early like I did last month.

I am definitely going to need help figuring out who owes what at the next auction. There was well over 60 items at the last auction and it drove me nuts when people wanted to leave and have me figure out their share while I was supposed to be recording the purchases, who bought what and for how much and who gets half and what’s a donation, etc, etc. We are going to have to come up with a better system. Perhaps there should be a slip with each item that one goes to the seller and one goes to the buyer and the runner writes it all the final info down. I’m sorry if this is extra work for people, but I can’t handle another night like last meeting. Christine will be out of town so we are not doing the treasurer stuff until later.
 
Who is handling the memberships right now, because I haven’t gotten anything in the mail or PayPal.
