Thanks Phil for an entreating and informative talk on the mysteries of salt 
water!  The door prizes were simply fantastic with gift cards from Blue Sierra 
and 2 boxes of live rock and an octopus from Dan the Marine Man.  I was 
surprised at how much equipment is in common with freshwater (particularly 
planted) and look forward to setting up helping Megan start a tank (Nemo?).  We 
also had an opportunity to share the results of the Koi grow out/bowl show.  It 
would appear that we have a number of serious (or soon to be) pond keepers.

The November meeting should have a number of surprises with a video and 
something special involving the Aquatic Gardner Association photo contest.  The 
November meeting is also the last small auction until January so plan 
accordingly.  The new space is working out well for general meetings now that 
the AC and door look are fixed.  The location will change for the plant action 
in February and the general auction in April (moved to Saturday, stay tuned).
