Re: [GSAS-board] General auction flyer

I think we have kid's activities at the June meeting.

I don't think we have any activities at the auctions for kids unless,*idea*
we can give them a coloring contest to do during the auction and announce
the winner 2/3 or the way through; I'm sure we can provide prizes, maybe for
each child and a bigger prize for the winner. What does everyone think?

Hi All,

I'll add my two cents, I like the overall layout, the map, the color, and
the overall look.

1) How about "27th Annual Auction", "Annual Auction", or "Big Auction"
    instead of "General Auction"

2) I agree with a previous post, lose the "Angry Fish" (it's scary!) and
the associated balloon, but I like the promotion of the Door prizes,
Kids Activities (do we?), maybe Snacks?

3) "Logs" are funny, but it is an inside joke pretty much only known to
members. Maybe we could promote something else that would be of
    interest non-members instead?

4) I agree with the previous comments, we need to clarify that anyone can
Buy, but members only can sell.

Big thanks to Phil for an excellent job! Sure wish I had his artistic
skills.

What happens next, after the final poster is done do we download it, print
it off, and take to LFS? I haven't done this before, just asking! Roy

Here's my take on the April flyer. Thoughts?

Once we get this one nailed down, would the board be okay with spending a
few bucks to get these printed up in color at Kinko's, and handed out at the
March meeting? Color copies are cheap these days, and I figure if we give
them out to anyone who says they'll hang them (and who is in attendance at
the next meeting) it could be a great source of advertising for only a few
bucks.

Phil
