folks can plan ahead and plot. One thing the Canadians did
that I think is a good idea (and especially for this thing) was to have a “members
only” auction. If you’re a full-dues-paid member in good standing, you get a
ticket. Raffle takes place at the end of the auction, so people stick around
longer to see who won (you MUST be present to win!) We could also add to that
a few other things, like the Python I was shipped as a donation, maybe some
other nice big donations. Speaking of donations, does
anyone feel close enough to the folds at Africa Northwest to ask them for a
donation of plants for the big show? I would, but I’ve no contact info. Phil |
