That's one impressive pile of donations!  Out of that, there are a few
things of note:
 - an Eclipse 6gal setup
 - a Fluval 304 cannister filter
 - a $25 gift cert from DrsF&S
 - a very nice pendant light fixture from AH Supply
 - at least one Python No-Spill Clean & Fill (I didn't open the box, might
be more)

Since these are somewhat nicer items, and in particular with the gift cert
something that has a finite value (and is therefore rather difficult to
auction off),  I would like to suggest that these items constitute the core
of our "member's only" raffle.  We have a roll of 2-part raffle tickets int
eh van already for just such a thing, and I feel strongly that we should
support the membership (as well as offer even more incentive for non-members
to join) by offering such items to them at the end in a drawing just for
them.  

I'm also thinking about making up a handout that lists the auction rules and
a checklist area for recording your purchases on one side, and a list of our
corporate sponsors on the back.  Thoughts?
