Seriously, you guys can meet without me, I'm not THAT critical :-) Calye says she also has a short report to write up for the board, detaining some things she noticed from behind the computers during the auction. If you want me to sign thank you cards, I can always do that at the May meeting, or what have you. For the record, I would like to propose right now, one year in advance, that we find a different facility for the auction next year. While that room is great for meetings, we've proven twice now that it's hot, easily overcrowded, doesn't really have the space we need to display lots properly, and is apparently booked for other events and classes on the Saturday we're there, eliminating ALL parking and generally being a pain to access. I would like to see if someone on this board attends a church; someone HAS to go to church, and more specifically, a church that has an activity hall we can rent for the day. We can talk details later, but that's my action item for the auction. As for the web page, I haven't had time to work on it much past what I showed y'all last month, what with being on the road almost nonstop in April (in fact, we leave for Ohio this Thursday for five days, come back and leave again for the wilds of northern BC in our old race car the next weekend...ugh...) As soon as I have something to show, including a shiny new sponsor page, I'll be sure to let you know.
