We need a moderator. I was going to suggest Erik, because he also has a good amount of shrimp knowledge and knows when a presentation is doing well or poorly. If we don't keep it on track I'm afraid it will just fall apart. I'm trying to figure out how I can "cover" it for video archive. So I'd like to get some ideas on how this is going to be directed! For instance: How many on the panel? Each speaking in sequence? Any formal graphics presentations? Or is it a free-for-all Q&A relying on audience participation? Is there a moderator? Maybe they could also double as mic chaperon to the audience. Whoever is planning this, please say a few words here, so I can figure out whether I need to pack the bigger mixer with 5 channels of wireless, etc! Perhaps same said words could be used on gsas-member and the newsletter to entice a large turnout.
