Re: [GSAS-board] Proposed email

Hi Erik,

I misunderstood the request to be that Dave wanted to "send to the
gsas-member list" his survey to mean a direct e-mail to our member e-mail
addresses, not a post to the GSAS Member Chat. If that was your original
question, then I apologize for my confusion.

As I read the requested post I see two "offers" in it. The first is for
$100 of merchandise for adopted ideas and the other promoting his 10%
discount to GSAS members. If the motion is approved, I think the offers
should be removed from the post so as not to offend our "GSAS Sponsor
Stores". If he is or becomes a "Sponsor Store", then we can list him in on
GSAS Newsletter Sponsor Store page indicating a "5% - 20% discount"
available to GSAS members.

Roy

And nowhere in any of this e-mail did anybody say it was. The guy wants
to make a single post asking for feedback on his website, and offering
some free stuff.

And again, who said anything about distribution? This is about a post on
gsas-member.

That is exactly what I was asking to begin with. Sigh.
