Re: [GSAS-board] [GSAS-Member] Rainbowfish speaker? (fwd)

Yeah, Gary when he came brought fry and eggs to auction off. I think we made like $300 on the auction and paid his airfare. It was awesome!

If Peter didn't work, he would be good option.

Yeah rainbows and rainbowfish speakers! I love my little threadfins. They look

Hi Erik,

I like the idea of a Rainbowfish speaker. A couple of months ago I picked
up some Threadfin Rainbows, not as colorful as some of the species but a
good size for my aquarium. I think we are "booked" up on speakers through
June, unless I am mistaken?

FYI, Peter is very good. Saw him at one of the GPAS conventions back when
they had them... unfortunately, camera was in the shop so no recording to
offer up.

Can also offer Gary Lange as a rainbowfish speaker. He's a good friend
(spoke at GSAS in 2002 -- that talk is in our library).

I noticed that the web site that is hosting the PDF belongs to NANFA member
Peter Unmack, who is also hosting the 2010 NANFA Convention in Nevada. He
is also Australian and an expert on Rainbow fish. He is an instructor and
researcher at BYU. Would you like me to approach him about speaking?

I was thinking that too! Unfortunately I think he lives in Australia.

I am sure he comes to the US/CAN to speak at conferences... Maybe we can
become a stop on a future trip.
