Can anyone identify this creepy-crawly which I just pulled out of my tank?

Is it dangerous? Where could it possibly have come from? Will there be more of them? Could this be the reason why one of my rainbowfish appears to have a bruise on its flank? Do fish even GET bruises? ICKY!!!
