Re: Tank monster - GAH!!!

Probably hitchhiked in with the plants I bought online last month. I'm sure the cats would have alerted me to the presence of damselflies in the apartment...

It is a damselfly nymph. It probably arrived with live plants. They will
eat small fry. I doubt it would attack adult fish. There probably won't be
more of them. The adult is an air-borne insect that looks just like a small
dragonfly.

Subject: Tank monster - GAH!!!

Can anyone identify this creepy-crawly which I just pulled out of my tank?

Here's a blurry picture of the tank monster next to a penny, for size
perspective:

Is it dangerous? Where could it possibly have come from? Will there be
more of them? Could this be the reason why one of my rainbowfish appears to
have a bruise on its flank? Do fish even GET bruises?
ICKY!!!
