Search both ebay and aquabid for 40 or 60 hour UniHeat heat packs. On
ebay, you can get 5 of the 60 hour packs shipped for about ~$15 and 25
for ~$50.

Stopovers are risky - think fish styros sitting on the tarmac someplace cold. It won't be cheap though.
