True, but if I remember you have very heavily planted tanks which breaks up sight lines and allows for hiding places, plus if the tank is big, usually means the parents won't chase too far.
 
Transplant those fish to a more typical setup - smaller tank, less planting, fewer hiding places, and watch the carnage begin...
