RE: hello?/rainbowfish

I use no filter in the breeding tank. There are plants in there, and I change the water 1 or 2 times a week and my test kits are showing that the water is fine without any filter. I will post my experience with the Neon Bows. Right now they are new to the tank so they get a few days of being spoiled with good foods and making themselves at home before I put the mops in.

ok, you're doing it the 'right' way. My trouble is my rainbows seem to
prefer to spawn up against the filter intake :) so I've just been picking
eggs out of the filter. maybe i should move the breeders to another tank, or put the filter on a timer so its off in the morning, so they'll breed in the
mop, then I'll move the mop to the other tank..

let us know how it works with the neons - thats what I'd like to try next.
