I was just given a large 125G saltwater tank setup, which I am told is a reef setup, but I'm not sure - the owner of the setup passed away some months ago and his business partners want the tank out of their office asap. I'll inspect it tomorrow night... I hope it has a lot of goodies. Can anyone point me to some information on moving a large tank? I know I'll have to completely drain it, but I'm at a loss as to what to do with the livestock during the move. I've got a 29G saltwater setup now that I can park some of the livestock and rock in while I move it. This would be logisticly much simpler if there was no livestock! :) And how heavy is an empty 125g??? is this something two men can carry? Furthermore, I'll need to move my freshwater 55 which is in the place the new tank would go, but I think I can split the livestock from that tank among a few 10G tanks I have lying around in order to move the 55. Maybe my upstairs bathtub will temporarily act as a pond for storing some livestock (how bad an idea is that?). Any pointers or advice would be GREATLY appeciated.
