Subject: Announcement to Livebearer Hobbyists
Greetings Livebearer Enthusiasts!
The American Livebearer Association is proud to present its 11th Annual
Convention, April 27-29 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Convention will be held
at the Holiday Inn West, 2747 South 11th Street. Great speakers, awards
banquet, livebearer show, and a great auction of rare and fancy livebearers
awaits all who attend! Come, bring your fish and join in on the fun!
The Southwestern Michigan area is home to many interesting things to do and
see. One "fishy" attraction is the Wolf Creek Fish Hatchery. Winery tours
and tasting are near, Lake Michigan is less than 45 minutes away for fishing
and boating. Major Shopping mall is ten minutes from the hotel. If you can,
try to spend a couple extra days exploring the area. If you are in the mood
for a shop hop, maps to local pet stores will be available. We hope to make
the 2001 ALA Convention an enjoyable weekend for all!
