Big Fish Tank, etc

Thanks everyone who came to the meeting last night. Lots of good
questions for Dorothy; she felt very welcome.

Couple of things. First, another plug for the AGA convention in the fall.
The website is http://www.aquatic-gardeners.org and you can download the
brochure there with more info. Takashi Amano is the key speaker, with
about four other speakers from the US.

Second, the AGA Aquascaping Contest is in full swing. I did a big wrapup
of it in the January meeting... Last year we got a few Seattleites
entering, but I know there's a lot of us here with very well 'scaped
tanks! I will personally offer to photograph anyone's tanks if you're
worried you're not a good photographer or some silliness like that. Go
see last year's entries and mull it over. The website for the contest is
http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org

And finally, some folks wanted to know when the grand prize from last
year's contest, a 72-gallon Bow-front aquarium, was going up for bid on
EBay. (The winner, a fellow from Norway, will not be able to claim his
prize, so we're auctioning it off and sending him the money.) It's there
now. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1246316562
Yes, I'm actually telling you this rather than keeping it secret so the
bidding stays low and we have a chance of winning it.
