I have to admit that about a month ago I finally gave up on the wonderful world of acrylic. It was just TOO much scrubbing; I was starting to develop a serious Cinderella complex. Glass tanks may not have those spiffy rounded corners, but at least they can be cleaned of almost any algae growth with 30 seconds and a paper towel. I can certainly understand why people would prefer the acrylic tanks. They're just not for me. (In fact, that's what I told my acrylic tank as I was carrying it out to storage: "It's not you, it's me!") - Erika On Thu, 6 Dec 2001, Frangooles, Bob wrote: > hehehe, as I said in my original post...I scrub algae every two years > whether I want to or not....if I could just teach graham to scuba dive, he > is about the right size for your old 180g tank, he could do a fine job on > the glass. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Sanford, Dave LHS-STAFF [mailto:Sanfordd@issaquah.wednet.edu] > Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2001 1:17 PM > To: 'gsas-member@thekrib.com' > Subject: RE: > > > Ya sure Bob, I've seen your tanks, and unless you have changed your ways > since your son was born then I doubt that you have gotten your arm wet that > often! > dave >
