Finding new homes for old aquariums

Hi all! Good news: this morning I donated my 50g aquarium to the PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) wildlife center in Lynnwood. They were very excited when I wheeled the 50g into their offices - the vet said that they would put it to immediate good use for baby killdeer (small sandpiper-like birds which can often be seen running up and down the high tide line while peeping loudly). Peep peep peep! PAWS is a non-profit animal welfare organization which runs a companion animal shelter and a wildlife rehabilitation hospital. Both the animal shelter and the wildlife center are always in need of aquariums of any size, either cracked or water-tight. If you have any old aquariums gathering dust out in the garage, please consider donating them to PAWS! Your donation is tax-deductible, and goes to a worthy cause. For more information, check www.paws.org. See y'all at the meeting! (I am practicing my "y'alls.") - Erika
