Does anyone have a preferred method of sanitizing plants? I wish to
clean my plants before the auction and also the ones I purchase so as to
avoid swapping hitchhiking snails, pathogens, etc. I have in the past
been lucky enough to get a rainbowfish egg that grew into a lovely fish
off an auction plant, but also a number of snails and algae. Any advise?
I have used bleach but of course some plants can't tolerate it and the
damage might not be apparent til a few days later... don't want to put
anyone through the experience of buying the incredible melting plant!
Have also heard of using alum but it supposedly has the same risks as
bleach.
