Oh, ya, I knew that :) -----Original Message----- From: owner-gsas-member@thekrib.com [mailto:owner-gsas-member@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of June Olberding Sent: Saturday, April 12, 2003 11:54 AM To: gsas-member@thekrib.com Subject: Re: black egg crate To the person using Rick's email account, Perhaps I should have been more specific :-) It is a rigid plastic rectangular grid with 1/2 in square holes. It is usually used over fluorescent lights to prevent glare. Home Depot has it in white but not black. Have heard references to black on the APD email but not where to get it. This tank sits in natural light and want something with hole to use that ambient light. I could use a black mesh that is used for crafts but don't want to empty and dry the tank to install it. The egg crate is rigid and can be cut to fit and so will stay in place, I hope. Don, I did put cork in a small tank and like how it looks. The back of the tank is now a wall of Windelov Java fern which gives nice dimension to the little 15 gal and still leaves lots of swimming room. I have been hesitant to use it in large tanks because of the installation hassles due to its super buoyancy. June > Hi June, > > I'm probably showing my ignorance here, but you've intrigued me.
