Hi Clay, I think Mr. Chips is a Butterkoferi Cichlid (Zebra Tilapia). I don't
have digital picture of him though...

Anyone interested may contact me at this e-mail address.

Thanks again for your help. I feel terrible about having to giver him away
(like I said, he is like a pet, we have had him for 4 years)...but I am sure he
can find a happy home.

Peggy

Peggy,

I can ask our membership if anyone is interested. I dont suppose you have a
digital pic of the African cichlid you have or know what type he is? It would
help to find a home for it. The plecos I will ask around, but, very few folks
seem interested in large Plecos, unless they are unusual types. If you wish
for me to ask the membership, can I use an email addy of yours to have them
send their email to?

Clay

Hi Clay,

Not sure if you are the right person to help me, but I thought that you may be
able to point me in the right direction. I found your name on the GSAS
website. My husband and I currently have a 100 gallon fish tank with a VERY
large African Cichlid (bought him as a baby and he just kept growing!) and two
plecostomus' (pretty big too) as well as two medium sized "fish" (not sure what
they are). We are moving in the next month and would like to find someone who
would like to take our fish. The tank is really too big for where we are
moving and we cannot accommodate it. Would you be able to point me in the
right direction in regards to finding a new owner for them? Mr. Chips (the
Cichlid) is fairly aggressive with other fish but acts like a house pet (you
can feed him by hand). I appreciate any assistance that you may be able to
provide me.

Thank you!
