Subject: white cloud mt. minnows
Hello,
I obtained your email address in connection with the Greater Seattle
Aquarium Society's web page. Last spring i put white cloud mountain
minnows in my pond and at that time didn't realize that they wouldn't
survive the winter. In the fall i removed all of them i could find and
the remaining ones (and numerous progeny) have been living in a tub
indoors (apparently quite happily). I am reluctant to put them back
in my pond as I'm sure many would not be found again and i do not really
wish to have them indoors again next winter. If you know anyone who
would like them (for free) i would love to find them a new home.
Also, do you know any small type of fish that would be happy in a
outdoor pond in seattle (that aren't illegal to import)? I don't
really want something that grows so big that it will eat everything in
the pond (just critters of mosquito size). I am not necessarily
enamored of goldfish and Koi. Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Mark Strom.
