A lot of places sell blackworms and claim they are bloodworms, bloodworms are not worms they are midge larvae. Aquatic foods has their worms tested by a university (forgot which one, I was emailing them a while back) for parasites and other nasties. I had asked them a while back for store in the area that sells their worms, but I guess they go through distributors before they get to the stores so they did not have an answer for me. I purchased the worms directly through them once, but even 1/4 pound, which was the smallest amount they sold was just way too many worms for me to deal with. Particularly since you have to keep them refergerated and they recommend that you keep them uncovered. You also have to rinse them daily. yucky yucky, but the fish love them. I have yet to find a good source of blackworms in Seattle, the two places I know of who have them, call them bloodworms and I do not know their source. The worms don't look nearly as healthy and black as the worms I got straight from Aquatic Foods. I'd buy from them again if I didn't have to get so many of the ugly things. --- Cichlidqueen <cichlidqueen@yahoo.com> wrote: > Dear Holly and Susan, the price of your free coupon > may be the life of your fish.
