Re: Still need more Auction help?

Hello, do you still need more help with the auction? I can come at 5:30 or 6
pm and help bag plants or what ever else needs doing. Please let me know.
Thanks Sandy

Hi Matt,

My first exposure to fish auctions was GSAS, and I later got to go around
the country and see how other clubs run their auctions. I can safely say
that GSAS is rather unique in its approach of multiple simultaneous
auctioneers and items in the back until checkout. And of course, the
recent addition of hot pink barcodes and wireless networking (this year
with real lasers for scanning!) only adds to our "uniqueness".

Even so, there are somethings that are common to all club auctions and
good labelling is one of them. That will help a lot. Energetic
auctioneers is another. Welcome aboard!

EVERYONE: No need for lot numbers, just make sure to bring no more than 20
lots each to s.ell. Variety is good. Just rememvber all those years
where we had to get through 25 balls of java moss.
