RE: Never under estimate algae eating shrimp

I need something to clean up the brown/orange algae in my Oranda tank. The
snails aren't able to keep up with it. I bet the golfish would eat the
shrimp though!

Subject: Never under estimate algae eating shrimp

Some time ago there was discussion of rainbows eating shrimp. I had
"forgotton" that there were a bunch of shrimp in a tank when I put two large
rainbows in. Since I "saw" fewer and fewer shrimp, I assummed that rainbows
had some expensive meals. Today I took that tank down and guess what? All 25
shrimp were still present, all hiding in thick sprite or under rocks. Even
the little ones escaped.
