Dear Bob,

I am the Volunteer Coordinator for ElderHealth Northwest. We are a non-profit organization providing health and social services, primarily to frail seniors, as well as others with disabilities. We are looking for an experienced volunteer to manage two 20-gallon tanks at our Adult Day Health Center on First Hill. The commitment would be about 4-8 hours each month. The best times for service are 7-9am and 3-5pm Monday-Friday and we'd like someone who can come weekly or bi-weekly for at least 3 months. You can view this listing at www.volunteermatch.org by searching ElderHealth Northwest and zip code 98104 or key word Aquariast.

I found your name on the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society web page and I'm wondering if you might have a way to let your members know about this volunteer opportunity either in your newsletter, at a meeting, or by posting a flier. I can provide you with whatever additional information you might need and would be happy to create a flier if this would be effective with your group.

ElderHealth is a place where volunteers feel that the gifts they bring and the work they do does indeed make a difference in the lives of the 700 frail, disabled adults and their care-givers whom ElderHealth serves each year. Our services include an Alzheimer's program, nursing, occupational therapy, art and music therapy, meals, transportation and case management. Our program helps keep people in their homes and out of costly 24 hour institutional care by providing health services and respite for caregivers.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more information at 206-224-3790 or gingers@elderhealth.org. You can also visit our website at www.elderhealth.org.

Sincerely,
Ginger Seybold, Volunteer Coordinator
