Auction

A belated thank you too everyone who participated in and/or donated to the 
plant auction. The auction was a financial success and I think everyone had 
an enjoyable evening.

The first GSAS home show in over ten years is scheduled to take place soon. 
On the weekend of March 27 - 28 a small group of members will visit the 
homes of those who have signed up to participate, to photograph and judge 
their tank(s). At some future date we'll have a "virtual home show" 
presentation at a club meeting so that we can all see each others' tanks, 
share ideas, ask questions etc.
I see this as a great opportunity for all of us to show other members what 
we're doing with our fish and to share interests and exchange ideas, with 
the competitive aspect of the show being strictly secondary.
We plan to incorporate the home show pictures, along with other GSAS event 
pictures, into an open-ended photo album - sort of an ongoing pictorial 
history of GSAS functions.

The home show is open to all GSAS members. There is no entry fee. Any tank 
- regardless of size,type or style - can be entered. Email 
gsasshow@excite.com or contact Jeff Stewart (206)297-1705 with your name 
and address to sign up.
