RE: zebra pleco

It sounds like Barbie is pretty inundated with requests for zebra's as it is
so I thought I'd let you know that Blue Sierra in Issaquah
(http://www.bluesierraexotics.com/) gets zebras in quite regularly. They
had one in last week selling for $80, I believe. I would also love a few,
but I don't have that kind of cash to spend on fish at the moment :) How
exciting to have a pregnant female though! I have done quite a bit of
reading on breeding them and understand that it's no easy task. Good luck,
Barbie! You are breeding some wonderful fish.

Hi Susan,

Not yet. I have a colony of them that I'm working with, and hoping to
spawn, but no fry as of yet. I just got moved down here last May from
Anchorage, so basically everything is just getting settled in enough (me
included) to really work on spawns. I have 3 females full of eggs and my
mentor says its just a matter of time at this point. I hope so. I have a
waiting list for dozens of them already. Noone can seem to find any!

  Hi Barbie:

I was wondering if you are breeding the black and white striped plecos.
Not the arabesque, or the Royal, but the other one. Not sure what it is
called. Has zebra-like stripes.
