This happened to a friend of mine. He had a 220 gallon custom made arclyic. His daughter was watching the fish. She picked up a small piece of coral and ran it back and forth across the front. The fish followed it. It was so much fun she did it for about an hour. He bought the repair kit and I honestly can not see the scratchs. I think you will be ok.
