I think you mean Clarias

Clarias catfish ("walking" catfish) were expected to be a big problem in 
Florida once they got loose from the fish farms, but as it turns out, they 
weren't as bad a problem as originally feared - seems that Florida's fishing 
bird population more than accommodated the traveling fish.

Lungfish can stand dried-out habitat but I don't think they move around too 
much and they aren't nearly as prolific as Clarias.
