Anchor worms-Sensative fish

Anyone know of a "milder" medication for the Polypterus sp.?

Last few weeks I have relocated myself, the tanks, the cat and all :) and I
have no doubt that one of my large species tank has a case of anchor worms...I
seen a couple of strands on a large Ornate Bicher of mine and stared alittle
bit harder into the open glass and seen a couple of free swimming white strings
with red heads wiggling...My guess would be anchors...

As far as how my fishies caught these I don't know...I quarantine all cold
water feeders I feed....
As far as I know Polypterus are a hardy group but sensitive to meds. I have a
couple in mind just want some additional feed back or opinions.
Anyone?

Tony
