They are roughly handled and are subject to crowded shipping and crazy temperature fluctuations. With that being said, I find cardinals to be one of the hardiest aquarium fishes. When they are received by the store, and immediate tetrid dosage must be administered. I find that they need to be at the store for about a week. After the week, the weakest ones will die off. The other important thing is they should be in a planted tank with cover at the store and where they go.If these things are done, they are often extremely hardy! coby _________________________________________________________________MSN Premium with Virus Guard and Firewall* from McAfee® Security : 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca&page=byoa/prem&xAPID=1994&DI=1034&SU=http://hotmail.com/enca&HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, please send mail to majordomo@thekrib.com with "Unsubscribe gsas-member" in the body of the message.
