Yes, I checked this out a couple years ago. As long as you buy the CLEAR kind,
100% Silicone is 100% Silicone is 100% Silicone. The tubes that are
labeled "Safe for Aquarium Use" contain the exact same stuff that you can buy
in the hardware store for half the price.
