Jeez....I DO know how to spell picnic (blush).
And I was also supposed to remind someone that I needed a permanent
membership card (name slipped through the fenestrations in my brain). You
know who you are (weak grin).
Also, if any of you have known aged fish, I'd be curious to look at their
otoliths. I need the whole fish (frozen), unless you can remove the otos
yourself AND their assumed age. I'm curious about how a tropical-tank
temperature regime might affect the periodicity of annulus formation on
the otoliths. I'm used to working on cold-water (i.e. Alaskan) fish.
