Pike cichlids, anyone?
X-Original-To: jbholmes@nwlink.com Delivered-To: jbholmes.nwlink.com@mx1.pacifier.net From: "Sponge Bob" <uaru420@earthlink.net> To: <jbholmes@nwlink.com> Cc: <info@gpas.org> Subject: home(s)for xingu I pikes Date: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 17:35:45 -0700 X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1437help (please?!) - you are possibly the only possibility of working with us to find homes for our pikes! in a nutshell, we purchased a juvenile xingu I pike four years ago; today, she is a beautiful speciman 9" long, brilliant colours; has done the wine belly stage several times; about 6 months ago, we decided to acquire a male for her; placed an order for a 7-8" male with Tangled Up in Cichlids; fish arrived, 6" - has matured from what was assured to be a male to an identical twin female, now 8" long. as a result of this, the 2 fish are divided in a 125 gal. tank, not fair to either one. we are trying to downsize for a possible move to idaho and are desparate to find QUALITY, SERIOUS homes for these fish or, for now, at least Max (the 8"). we are not willing to part with them to what seems to be so many so called "fish specialty stores", or to advertise in paper - serious fishkeepers and lovers only. please, please advise - they are both absolutely gorgeous, healthy, personable (and aggressive!!!) kim and tracy
