Actually with taking him out for a while, and then
rearanging things, you should be able to put him back
in, without troubles.....for he would see the littler
ones are their, so he may think they are "Part of the
tank" so to speak.....It's worth a try anyways....but
keep him out say a week, move things around in the
larger tank, then put him back in....see what happens.
IF he behaves great...if he doesn't he can always be
moved back out again.

I think it's worth a try.
