RE: [GSAS-Member] Light Bulbs

Hi Anita:

I tried this link, and it wouldn't work. Can you send it again?

Subject: [GSAS-Member] Light Bulbs

Trying to find a cheaper source for quality flourescent bulbs for the
fixtures I am not currently planning on upgrading to compact flourescents, I
discovered these bulbs:

http://www.atlantalightbulbs.com/excella.html<http://www.atlantalightbulbs.c
om/excella.html>

The spectrum is incredible, with a CRI of 91.1, and a temp of 5765K. The
sizes, prices, and case sizes are at the bottom of the page. The only
downside that I see is that they need to be purchased by the case. I'm
interested in the 18" bulbs, to top some 20 gallon tanks I have, and with
shipping they come to $8.10 each. (I just got a quote for $33.40 to ship a
case of 18" bulbs ground). Other sizes might also interest some of us.

So I'm trying to see if I can get together enough people to purchase 1 or
more cases -- no profit, just a straight splitting of the cost. If you're
interested in possibly participating, please email me at
amjacobson52@yahoo.com<mailto:amjacobson52@yahoo.com>.

Anita

P.S. I dealt with this supplier when I was working with a multi-million
dollar company that refurbished semi-conductor manufacturing equipment, and
they were completely reliable.
