Re: [GSAS-Member] GE silicone

I have used the GE brand before. Do not get any labeled for use specifically for kitchen/bath/window/door as these contain poisons that prevent mold and mildew, which will also kill fish.

Subject: [GSAS-Member] GE silicone

Hello everyone!

I am wanting to build a rock wall for a few of my
tanks, with using fruit crates as support.I did a
search in the archives about silicone. I came accross
a thread which suggested using GE Silicone Sealant,
number RTV108 has anyone ever used this product, and
how did it go.

I know I could just go to LFS and buy some, but need
alot, so if their is a way to save money, and still be
safe for the fish then great!

The silicone needs to adhere to plastic as well as the
rock.

Any ideas would be great!

Trish
