You gave me 2 females, 1 male, and 3 too small to sex. Since then I've had exactly one additional female, and a lot of bright, absolutely identical, males. They seem happy, & thrive (only one has died in all that time), but it is definitely a boy's club in that tank. I have Endler's from Bob and they started dying when my pH fell below 7.0 or so. As long as I keep the pH higher than 6.8, I do fine and haven't had any more losses since then. I get about 60% males, 40% females....rough estimate. More males than females, but I do get females. I gave a bunch of Endler's from this tank (mostly still unsexable fry)to a couple club members...wonder what the sex ratio ended up with those?
